A Regulation 19 local plan is the pre-submission draft of a local plan published for formal consultation before it is submitted for independent examination. This stage of consultation focusses on the tests of legal compliance and soundness.
Our draft plan covers the period of 2022-2043 and is due to be submitted by the end of 2026.

We are now seeking views on the Tamworth Pre-Submission Local Plan. The consultation runs from the 24th of August to the 5th of October 2026.
