Vision and objectives for the new local plan
Tamworth will have to accommodate a significant amount of growth to meet our local needs. We need to be realistic that Tamworth will change. Our vision and objectives should be positive, focusing on what we want to see rather than what we do not.
Vision
The vision should provide a clear picture of the role that new development will play in creating the borough we want to see in the future. We would like your views on how bold and ambitious the new local plan should be. A suggested vision is set out below and we would like to know your thoughts on it.
Objectives
To deliver the Council’s vision the local plan will have a number of objectives which will set the framework for the local plan policies. The proposed objectives based on the suggested vision are also set out below and we would like to know your thoughts on them.
